My Favorite Beauty Products

I know I’m not a beauty expert and I didn’t really grow up the girly way, but there are a few beauty products that I love and enjoy. They simply had become a part of my everyday life. Now, I see them as things that I just can’t live without (earthly possessions, that is!).

I am going to share a few of them on this blog. I hope you’ll enjoy reading about them.

1. Lip Care

When it comes to caring for my lips, there’s only one product that I trust. I love Forever Living’s Aloe lips with Jojoba. It’s a little pricey compared to most lip balms out there but I wouldn’t think of trading this with any other lip care product out there. Why? Because I don’t need to re-apply my Aloe Lips as often as I do when I’m using other lip care products. I just apply it twice a day and that’s it. Yes, just twice a day. Once in the morning before leaving for work (or wherever I am going) and again before going to bed. I used to have really bad, dry, chapped lips that crack and bleed when I smile. But now, I can happily sing “I have kissed my dry lips Goodbye!”.

2. Lotion

I am not a very picky person when it comes to lotion. I seldom even apply one. I just apply some on my elbows and knees regularly. Why? Because I hate the greasy after- feel. But, I love Johnson’s baby lotion with Lavender. The scent is not overpowering and it’s not greasy.

3. Hair care

I have very unhealthy hair. If I don’t go to my favorite hairstylist for a fix, I’d probably look like a witch now. The only hair care regimen that I do is make sure I have my hot oil treatment at least once a month and use a daily hair care product that suits my hair’s need. This is where Sunsilk comes in. It’s affordable and it will leave your hair smelling great the whole day!

4. Body mists

I have always been more picky and particular of my scents. And I don’t just store them anywhere. I store them in our refrigerator. Yes, the refrigerator. Because I have read somewhere before that the best place to store your favorite colognes and perfumes is inside the fridge. It makes it scent last a long, long, long time. I love fresh, fruity scents while I avoid sophisticated smelling ones. Why? Because sophisticated means old for me. (lol, I know, I’m trying to stop my age from being obvious, so just let me be! Lol!) I love Victoria’s secret’s body mist. My favorite is their Tropical Nectar. It has a very sweet, flirty, fruity, lady-like scent that always do wonders for my mood. Among my other favorites are Pear Glaze, Sweet Temptation & Romantic Wish. I also have a new favorite and it’s not even on the sweet & fruity category. It belongs to the “sophisticated” one. But I love it nonetheless. It is Lancome’s Miracle Forever. I just happen to love it’s womanly scent. It makes me feel like a real Lady.

So now you know my favorite beauty products. I don’t have any favorite make-up brands as I rarely touch and put them on my face. I always prefer the natural look. I believe it is always more refreshing and more comfortable. No worries about smudges and smears. Without makeup, I feel so care free!

Since this is my first post on this blog, I will make a mental note and a promise to always write at least one post a day. And I will be posting more about my other Favorites too!
